Aelva began during a chapter of change.
After becoming a mum for the first time to my daughter, I returned to a career I’d spent years building and discovered that my role had changed significantly while I was away.
Motherhood had changed my life, but it hadn’t changed my ambition, my experience or what I was capable of.
After a difficult few months, I made the decision to leave. What initially felt like an ending became the beginning of something completely new.
My husband and I started talking about what the next chapter could look like. We wanted to create something that would give our family greater flexibility, but I also wanted to build something I could feel genuinely proud of: a business rooted in the belief that women shouldn’t have to choose between the different parts of who they are.
And slowly, Aelva began.

I’ve always loved jewellery and the way something so small can carry so much meaning.
A necklace can remind you of someone. A charm can mark a new beginning. A pair of earrings can make you feel a little more like yourself.
Jewellery becomes part of our stories. The pieces we buy to celebrate something, the ones we’re given by someone we love and the everyday favourites we reach for without even thinking.
But I wanted those pieces to work for real life too.
Work. Weekends. Holidays. Celebrations. Busy mornings. Late nights. Ordinary Tuesdays. The moments when you’re dressed up and the ones when you’re most definitely not.
So we created Aelva: beautiful, meaningful jewellery designed to be worn, lived in and loved.
Our pieces are made from durable stainless steel with 14k gold PVD plating, chosen to create jewellery that feels special without needing to be saved for special occasions.
More than one thing
If there’s one thing creating Aelva has reinforced for me, it’s that none of us is just one thing.
We’re constantly evolving, building careers, raising families, nurturing relationships, chasing ideas, changing direction, starting again and discovering new versions of ourselves along the way.
We can be ambitious and nurturing. Strong and vulnerable. Certain of where we’re going one day and figuring it all out the next.
And we don’t have to make ourselves smaller to make room for something new.
Aelva celebrates all of it.
